Last year I got serious about decluttering our home because I felt 'stuck'. It helped so much to connect with and hire for a few hours, a professional organizer. She gave me practical tips on how and where to begin. It worked!I had boxes of teaching materials sitting in a corner of the basement for FIVE years. There were so many memories attached to it all that I could not bring myself to go through it. But when someone TOLD me to do it I obeyed. A week after it was gone my brother came over and offered to help us build an office for the holistic counseling practice I was wanting to start. Talk about the power of moving out old energy to make room for the new. But it gets even better. I had a rummage sale last summer of all the other 'stuff' I was now able to let go of. With the money I made I purchased a massage table and stool for my practice. I am now using it in my new office for accupressure and SEVA stress relief. I plan to paint and carpet the rest of the basement over the Christmas vacation and turn that area into a small yoga studio. Hiring someone to help me definitely paid off. How true this is Shelley.
